Dark cloud covers nation - March 31

Last Friday I was out early – 6:30 a.m. sitting in the hot tub. As I looked out over Ministikwan Lake, the scene was clear and vivid.
Very similar to waking up in the Rocky Mountains on a snow covered glacier. Several times in the past I have had the opportunity to participate in back country outings including snow caving adventures. On one of the occasions, we headed up onto the Saskatchewan Glacier, when we found what to be considered a desirable location we dug for the next four hours hollowing out a dome shaped space large enough to hold four adults.
We called it fun at the time, today I might question that. The fact remains that when you step out from the cave into the morning light there is a sense of clarity and vividness as the landscape unfolds before your eyes.
Friday started out clear and vivid, unfortunately several hours later there was a dark cloud cast across the nation as the federal arena crumbled to the likes of the pot (coalition) calling the kettle black, and as we all know the Bloc is wasting nothing but the taxpayers’ hard earned money, when nothing constructive can be realized from their participation, except to bring this session of parliament to an abrupt end. The past 19 years has shown just that. Then again this is Canada and we must apologize for what we accept.
At the very least Harper has proven he is a leader on both the national and international stage. There is no alternative on the horizon and if today the Liberals want nothing to do with a coalition then we had best be giving Mr. Harper an unencumbered opportunity to govern Canada.
